ABSTRACT

In this new issue of GRID we have the pleasure of bringing you an interview with the Chief Executive Officer of the World Water Council, Mr Daniel Zimmer. The Council, serving as a platform to promote awareness and encourage debates on critical water issues at all levels, is thus a fitting interlocutor for IPTRID as our Programme parallels their mission in the narrower subject of technology and research for irrigated agriculture. Mr Zimmer provides a candid view about his organization and how it can interact with our Programme.
