FAO dialogues: Communicating to Inspire Change

The aim of this series of FAO Dialogues is to raise awareness of, and stimulate debate on, key issues related to the mandate and activities of the Organization.

The first three FAO Dialogues were successfully held in October 2014 in the framework of the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) and aimed to stimulate debate around key nutrition issues, raise awareness and explore links between nutrition strategies.

This series of public discussions, the FAO Dialogues, have as aim to bring together our member countries, our partners and stakeholders, in a neutral environment where all opinions and voices are heard in a constructive way. FAO is the host and facilitator for this series.

The most recent FAO Dialogue has been on the challenges of the Encyclical Letter Laudato Si’ in the year of the post-2015 Agenda, gathering the opinions of religious and political leaders on the critical issue of climate change.
