В то же время сотни миллионов человек на планете страдают от недоедания, и миллиарды не могут позволить себе здоровое питание. ППП усугубляют проблему изменения климата и оказывают огромную нагрузку на мировые природные ресурсы, экосистемы и биоразнообразие, ставя под угрозу способность нынешнего и будущих поколений обеспечивать продовольственную безопасность, питание и средства к существованию, не переходя критических границ устойчивости природной среды.
