5th ITPS Working Session
The ITPS held its 5th Working session in Rome. The key points that were discussed during this intense working week :
- Review and finalization of the first draft of the “Voluntary Guidelines for Sustainable Soil Management”
- Follow up of the “Status of the World ’s Soil Resources”report
- Follow up on the GSP Plans of Action and the Regional Implementation Plans
- Report on the collaboration between ITPS and the SPI of UNCCD, IPBES and IPCC
- Review of the work plan for ITPS 2015-2017
- Support to the SDG process through soil indicators
- Preparation of an ITPS publication for 2016
- Report to the Fourth GSP Plenary Assembly
