A Virtual Flash Mob for the Mountain Guides and Leaders' Manifesto
As part of IMD 2022 - as Mountain Guides and Leaders local organization - we are planning an initiative to relaunch the Ethical Manifesto that we presented last October.

For the 11th of December we are planning a virtual flash mob with our members: on the occasion of the International Mountain Day, each participating guide will publish a video on their online channels in which they will read and comment on a part of the Manifesto - we symbolically bring our Manifesto on the peaks with the slogan "Together we make the mountains live".
The five themes contained in the Manifesto – Freedom, Responsibility, Sustainability, Respect, Participation – will be relaunched by the guides on their online channels, with videos shot in the outdoors in which each guide reflects on one of the points.
«A way to reaffirm our commitment to guarding the inaccessible territories and to symbolically bring the principles enshrined in the Manifesto to the peaks» explains the President of the Alpine Guides of the Veneto Marco Spazzini, «this initiative aims to be an opportunity to involve more and more people, public authorities, associations and companies in the commitment to make the mountains live».
To ensure that those principles do not remain just words written on paper, it is important to involve the population and all the organizations that embrace these values and want to commit themselves to giving a future to our valleys: together it will be possible to implement projects that are going to translate these concepts into concrete actions.
