Launch of the HLPE Report #14 (a CFS event)

During its 44th Plenary Session, the CFS requested the HLPE to produce a report on “Agroecological approaches and other innovations…” to be presented at CFS46 Plenary session in October 2019. This report is launched in FAO officially on the 3rd July 2019.
It illustrates the potential of agroecological and other innovative approaches in agriculture to reach the crucial goals of global sustainability. It adopts a dynamic perspective centred on the key concepts of transition and transformation, addressing issues like lock-ins and proposing pathways at all relevant scales.
