Detachable stumper-splitter. - Splitter of cast manganese carbon steel penetrates stumps, splits them into easily handled segments and lifts them from ground. Sharpened steel bar is welded to left side of the standard Fleco detachable stumper. In operation, the splitter, with full power of tractor directly behind it, slices through tough stumps easily. Once split, stump receives immense forward and upward thrust effort from curved face of detachable stumper. Tough roots are cut and broken by hard surfaced teeth and stump is brought from ground with little dirt. Stumps previously considered too large for economical removal can now be splintered and lifted from the ground quickly and at low cost.

Two-wheel type Tractor Dozers 824 area 834. - Designed for high speed dozing and pushloading, the 824 of 62,000 lb (28,117 kg) 260 flywheel h.p., and 834 of 90,000 lb (40,816 kg) 360 flywheel h.p., both feature articulated frames for good maneuverability and short turning diameter. "Multic 43" universal saw. - Can be used for cutting wood either with or across grain, for all kinds of plastics, iron, steel, sheet-metal and nonferrous metals. Special tools or attachments available for various operations and can be fitted in a few seconds. Machine can be fitted with a 1,500 r.p.m. 2 h.p. motor or with a 1,000 r.p.m. 1.5 h.p. motor. Guide roller prevents workpiece from tipping off too soon. Adjustable with millimeter accuracy for thickness and width of material, and in inclination. Acco Doubl-Bite log choker chain.
Acco Doubl-Bite log choker chain. - Tested in difficult log hauling areas under severe operating conditions, chain specially engineered with electrically welded "teeth," which hold log fast during roughest hauling. When logs are choked, the regular link chain end of each choker is placed in a grab hook ready for hauling. Teeth hang onto the log even during the bark peeling season when ordinary choker chains peel bark and slip off log.
Available in 3/8 in. (9 mm) and ½ in. (13 mm) chain size and can be used in any type of log skidding operation.
