“Thana Nirbahi officer (of Mongla) stated that about 70 to 80 armed people went to the village of Damerkhanda from Khulna at about 11.00 a.m. by a trawler and attacked a shrimp culture farm. At this time, the villagers came to the support of the farmers of the shrimp farm and tried to resist the armed people. As a result 20 people got bullet injuries by this armed people. After 2 to 3 hours police came to the spot to control the situation.”
