RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
PROJECT TCP/BGD/4451
during the extension phase (July 95-Dec. 95)

1. EXPECTED OUTPUTS/ACTIVITIES

1. 200 FAs trained in semi-intensive fish culture, TDS of aquaculture extension, collection of field data, preparation of reports etc.
2. Demonstration in additional thanas going to be covered under the Govt. Project.
3. Regular extension service support to RDFFs through Field counterpart officers.

3. SUPERVISION

Project should be kept under the supervision of the National Project Director, Mr. S.N. Choudhury till the joining of the National Expert. After joining, the National Expert will take over and perform the job as per his TOR approved by the HQ.

4. CERTIFICATION FOR PAYMENT

Mr. S.N. Choudhury, National Project Director will certify for the payments to be made by the project fund till the National Expert joins. After joining the National Expert will be responsible as per the provision laid in his TOR.

5. SUPPORT STAFF

Mr. Ziaullah, the Administrative Clerk who has already been given FT appointment till 16.12.95 may continue till the end of the project.

The services of a driver (Mr. S.A. Khokon) is required to give mobility support to the National Expert and NPD for achieving the project objectives.

6. TRAINING

Due to limitation of fund, the money required for the training and training materials will be provided by the Govt. Project.

These recommendations are made after discussion with the NPD and with his agreement.
