  • Report and present view of current state of forest education at the World Forestry Congress in Quebec City, September 2003.
  • Provide feedback to IUFRO Division 6 leading research and education initiative.
  • Establish an ad hoc Deans/ Department Heads Group, which meets every two years to discuss forest education and research issues.
  • Debate the involvement of the academic community to participate in the international discussions and negotiations on forest policy.
