Before introducing 7.1 and 7.2, I should like to touch on two points. In the first instance, many delegations have already spoken in support of the Plant Genetic Resources Programme, especially under items 7 and 12. I would like to assure that the Secretariat has already taken note of those comments and of your support.
Under these two topics are two resolutions which have been extensively discussed and accepted by the appropriate bodies. So I would hope that they would be seen by this Commission in that light.
