CHAIRMAN: Before we start, I wish to make an announcement. As you all know we are now in the period of Ramadan and we have many distinguished Islamic colleagues with us. In order to help our Islamic colleagues who would like to offer prayers during Ramadan, the Sudan Room, B327, has been reserved for the convenience of the Islamic delegates every day throughout the Council session. This room will be ready by about noontime today.
