CHAIRMAN: I call the first Plenary Meeting to order. May I ask the Secretary-General to make some announcements.
SECRETARY-GENERAL: Before proceeding to read the results of the votes this morning, I would like to draw attention to the fact that the Conference Revised Time-Table now appears in document C 77/LIM/21. It supersedes the timetable which appeared in C 77/12, as agreed by the Conference last Saturday on the recommendation of its General Committee.
I would draw attention in particular to the fact that the Conference has recognized the need for an evening session of the Plenary on Thursday, 17th November, from 9. 00 to 11. 00 hrs. p. m. in order to continue the general discussion.
Also Saturday, the 19th - that is next Saturday - will be an additional working day for the Conference instead of Monday, 21st November. The Conference will not meet on Monday, the 21st. All meetings originally scheduled for Monday will, therefore, take place on Saturday. The speakers in the general debate originally scheduled for Monday will speak on Saturday instead in the same order.
