CHAIRMAN: Distinguished delegates, ladies and gentlemen I wish to declare open the Third Plenary Meeting of the 27th Session of the Conference. We had two good sessions on Saturday. We have had the benefit of yesterday. I hope that all delegates had a restful and refreshing week-end and feel invigorated to ensure that we pursue the business of the day with vigour and satisfaction.
Conference will recall that when we closed our meeting on Saturday evening we had concluded the vote on the applications for Membership. The tellers have completed the counting of the ballots and I should like to ask the Secretary-General to read the results.
