LIBERIA

Paddy production in 2004/05 is estimated at 159�600 tonnes compared to 110�000 tonnes in 2003/04, reflecting the return of many displaced people following the end of the civil war. Cereal import requirements in 2005 are estimated at 210�000 tonnes, about one-third of which is anticipated to be covered by food aid.
