6.1 Total Catch
Total catch statistics for the principal commercial species are listed in Table 5. The quality is still very uneven.
6.2 Fisheries
Tables 6, 7 and 8 list the available data on artisanal and industrial fisheries by CECAF division and by country.
The data submitted to the Working Group by Cameroon (Appendix 5) proved particularly useful since they supplied detailed data on the catch and effort of a fishery hitherto little documented.
