The fish should be wrapped in a towel during hormonization to keep it calm and to reduce struggling. Injections should be given intramuscularly at the base of the pectoral fin using a 5 cc syringe and a gauge No.21–22 needle. All instruments should be clean to avoid bacterial infection.
