Letters

Unasylva welcomes correspondence. comments and suggestions. particularly on substantive issues, from its readers. Unasylva reserves the right to print letters to the editor in the journal and to edit for reasons of length.

I acknowledge with thanks receipt of Unasylva copies on a regular basis. The journal is highly educational and an eye-opener on modem practices for sustainable forestry. The concept of concentrating on a particular theme for each issue intensifies the sharing of experience. For many of us, Unasylva is the main reference for modern forestry practices and training.

The University of Chocó offers various study programmes, including biology and chemistry, biology with a special emphasis on natural resources, agroforestry engineering and agricultural administration. The university library serves both the institute itself and the surrounding community. As such, we would be very interested in receiving Unasylva in Spanish to put it at the service of teachers, students and researchers in the region.
