Where EEC Regulations so require or do not apply, decree shall determine:
-Regulation of fishing-related operations;
-Prohibition of sale and transport of prohibited catch;
(Decree of 9 January 1852 regarding the practice of maritime fishing, amended, art. 3)
-Place and conditions of landing of catch. (Id., art. 4)
Reunion:
-Fishing prohibited in waters under national jurisdiction by vessels from non-EEC countries. licence may be issued in conformity with EEC Treaty and regulations and with international agreements concluded by the EEC.

Dependent Territories:
-Fishing by foreign vessels permitted pursuant to international agreement with flag states, and according to conditions stipulated therein.

-Number of vessels fishing in EEZ and volume of catch to be determined by decree.

-Vessel name must be displayed on wheelhouse;

St. Pierre and Miquelon:
-Trawling, drag net and fixed net fishing require a licence (Art. 2)
-Observer must be allowed on board. (Art. 4)
-Trawling and fishing are prohibited within a 3 mile zone off the coasts. (Art. 8)
-Technical conservation measures to be specified (mesh size, bycatches, (fish size). (Arts. 9-11)

LEGISLATION
Dependent Territories:
-Fishing logbook must be maintained on board.
-Master must radio entry and departure of vessel, and catch and position.
-Log entries following each fishing operation must be made recording quantity of catch by species, date and time of beginning and end of each operation, position of catch, fishing method.
-On exit, entry, port call, and every 7 days, radio report must be made regarding position, catch on board, catch since last report and position of catch, transhipments.
