-Fees as above.
-Operation fee determined by formula: (Estimated catch per trip in tons) x (FOB price in Kina per ton) x (Unit Rate in percentage) x (Operation Ratio) x (Duration Ratio for longliners and group purse-seiners or number of trip per year for single purse-seiners - nothing for pole and liners) x (Factor - for single purse-seiners only).
-FOB price calculated in accordance with agreed formula from average of Yaizu market prices over previous 3 months.

Note: Large fleet of long distance foreign fishing vessels from USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines harvests tuna inside Papua New Guinea's EEZ. Foreign fleet fishing allowed by access agreement under which in 1994, licences were issued to 130 purse seiner, 90 longliners and 20 other vessels.

% = Reports must be made every 3 days for vessels from Norway, Sweden and Faroes when fishing for herring, weekly when fishing for other species .
