Written Statement submitted by the United States of America in exercise of its Right of Reply under Rule 20 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Food Summit.

In exercise of the Right of Reply to the Statement of the Representative of the Marshall Islands, the United States of America requests that the following Statement be published in the Report of the World Food Summit.

"The Compact of Free Association with the United States represents a negotiated, comprehensive settlement of all nuclear claims. Under that agreement, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has in the past and continues to provide food assistance to the Marshall Islands."
