1. The Eighth Session of the Codex Committee on Food Import and Export Inspection and Certification Systems (CCFICS) was held in Adelaide, Australia from 21-25 February 2000 at the kind invitation of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia. Mr. Digby Gascoine, Director, Policy and International Division, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, chaired the Session. It was attended by 160 participants representing 43 Members of the Commission and 15 international organizations [1]. The complete List of Participants is attached at Appendix I.
