Appendixes 3-5 give inventories of data on all important demersal species identified in the major groups. The inventory does not however take into account the equality of data. In each major group, a distinction has been made between exploited species and non-exploited ones. The inventory also specifies species or groups of species for which national statistics, CECAF statistics, external statistics in foreign institutions or some research data are available. It is observed that most of the species or groups of species are already being exploited. Only few species or species groups such as Brachydeuterus auritus (Appendix 3) for the Guinea Bissau North and Senegambia sector; Balistidae, Triglidae and dactyloptidae (Appendix 4) are not being marketed.
