1. The 32nd session of the Codex Committee on Food Additives and Contaminants was held in Beijing, People's Republic of China, from 20-24 March 2000 at the kind invitation of the Government of the Netherlands in cooperation with the Government of the People's Republic of China. Mr. Edwin Hecker, Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management and Fisheries, chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by 244 participants representing 39 Member Countries and 33 international organizations.
