The Committee noted that action required as a result of changes in the ADI status of food additives or other toxicological recommendations concerning contaminants as proposed by JECFA at its 53rd meeting (June 1999) had been addressed by the ad hoc Working Groups on the General Standard for Food Additives and on Contaminants and Toxins, respectively.
19. The table summarizing "Action Required as a Result of Changes in ADI Status and Other Toxicological Recommendations Arising from the 53rd JECFA Meeting" is attached to this report as Appendix XV.
