The workshop was attended by 24 experts in fisheries economics, administration, trade and finance, including TCDC experts, from 10 countries i.e. Japan, Republic of Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, two regional organizations i.e. the Asia Pacific Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (APRACA) and INFOFISH and from FAO headquarters. The FAO delegation consisted of Dr. E. Ruckes, Senior Fishery Industry Officer, FIIU, Dr. U. Tietze, Fishery Industry Officer, FII, and Dr. I. Feidi, Chief FIIU, who headed the delegation.
