1. The Codex Committee on Natural Mineral Waters held its Seventh Session in Fribourg, Switzerland from 30 October to 1 November 2000, at the kind invitation of the Swiss Government. The session was chaired by Dr. Urs Klemm, Chairman, Swiss National Codex Committee, and it was attended by 98 Delegates, advisors and observers from 35 Members of the Commission and 8 observers from 5 international governmental and non-governmental organizations. A full list of participants, including members of the Secretariat, is given in Appendix I to this report.
