The Committee was advised that the 7th Session of the Codex Coordinating Committee for North America and the South-west Pacific was tentatively scheduled to be held in Canada from 3-6 December 2002 subject to discussions between the Codex and Canadian Secretariats. The delegation of Canada offered to consider the possibility of hosting the meeting in one of the South West Pacific island countries.
