This Fisheries Technical Paper is a synthesis of current information on inland fisheries habitat rehabilitation techniques. It summarizes the effects of various techniques for restoring natural processes, improving habitat, and increasing fish and other biota numbers and provides recommendations on effective techniques as well as information on planning and monitoring of rehabilitation projects. This document is intended to assist managers, field biologists and scientists involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of habitat rehabilitation and restoration of aquatic ecosystems.
