To prepare a questionnaire for the economic evaluation cost-benefit analysis of individual fish farms and fish-fry production centres within the Lake Basin Region and to identify represetative farming practices and farms.
Using the questionnaire, to conduct a preliminary financial analysis of the represetative sample of fish farmers in the lake area and the project's fish fry production centres.
To advise project staff on reporting methods for improved economic data collection/interpretation (including possible spread-sheet analysis) for use at later stage for a deeper and more detailed diagnosis.
To submit to the Director, FIO a brief report summarizing his activities and giving his recommandations for future action.
A preliminary report will be presented at the end of the field visit and during the last days at the home station the consultant will prepare a more detailed document.
