Implications
I. General Instructions to WG Participants
- Please select a group leader
and a rapporteur for your group
- Discuss and answer the
questions as per the given terms of reference for the discussion topic
- Please feel free to provide
additional inputs and suggestions, as appropriate
II. Discussion Topics
- Review present food production
and as well as nutrition well-being policy framework, its major drawbacks in
each country with regards to the applications
- Identify possible options for
improvements
- Propose suitable framework towards
the improvements of the inter-relationship
III. Terms of Reference for
Working Groups
- Highlight major national policy
framework and obligations for the food production and nutrition improvement of
the countries
- Identify bottlenecks of the
implementation present food production policy and nutrition improvement
interventions
- Provide doable suggestions for
strengthening framework to improve the current nutrition situation
- Explore possibilities/options
which would lead to effective and timely interventions, giving specific
examples.
- Make a presentation on the
outcomes of the discussions.
IV. Expected Outputs
- Be updated on national/regional
food production and nutrition improvement policies
- Major bottlenecks of policy
implementation are identified
- Recommendations made for
updating the policy framework
