The present brochure is not intended to compete with these but rather to give interested parties practical advice on how the palm stem can be used. Based on their own experience and on a critical screening of the literature the authors sum up the state of the art on coconut palm stem utilization. Many of the technical and scientific terms are explained in the glossary.
