FAO CONTRIBUTION TO INTERNATIONAL SEED PROCUREMENT OF FOREST TREES OF THE U.S.A.

FAO has provided a modest sum of money to the United States Forest Tree Seed Centre at Macon, Georgia, as a contribution to its international seed collection and distribution programme.

The purpose of this contribution is to cover the cost of providing research quantities of seed to developing countries which would not otherwise be in a position to pay for it.

The approval of FAO's Forest Resources Division should be obtained for the use of the FAO contribution, for every individual consignment in advance.
