Village administration, perhaps best translated as municipality as it often consists of more than one village.

Village elder



Arabian Peninsula

The territories of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. The Arabian Peninsula is seen as a subregion of West Asia (see below).



Caucasus

Refers to the territories of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The Caucasus is seen as a subregion of West Asia (see below).
