Leaflets on a number of Australian Acacia species were published between
1975 and 1982. The first three were published by the Forestry and Timber Bureau.
Following a change of administration, subsequent leaflets have been produced by
the Division of Forest Research, CSIRO, P.O. Box 4008, Canberra ACT 2600,
to whom any requests for copies should be addressed. |

Another important and recent publication from Australia is the fourth, and
greatly enlarged, edition of the standard reference book “Forest trees of
Australia”. The authors of this edition are D.J. Boland, M.I.H. Brooker,
G.M. Chippendale, N. Hall, B.P.M. Hyland, R.D. Johnston, D.A. Kleinig and J.D.
Turner. It is available from CSIRO Editorial & Publications Service, P.O. Box 89,
East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3002 at a cost of $A39.95. A total of 223
species are described and illustrated, including 137 eucalypts & 86 other species. |
