“Forest Genetic Resources in France. Volume 1: The Conifers”, is a document on genetic resources of important native and exotic conifers in France (to be followed by a similar document on hardwoods), which describes the present state of knowledge on distribution, variation and characteristics of the species; forest management practices and the use of each species in plantation forestry; the state of improvement and selection work; and conservation status and needs.
