Tebufenozide is an insecticide which acts as an agents of the critically important insect-moulting hormone, 20-hydroxyecdysone. Treatment with tebufenozide results in an accelerated, incomplete moult and an immediate cessation of feeding in lepidopteran larvae.
Tebufenozide is used to control caterpillar pests in fruits, vegetables and other crops. The registered uses are shown in Table 20, and proposed uses in Table 21.
