Forestry and forest products bibliography

Beginning April 1950, FAO is publishing a monthly Forestry and Forest Products Bibliography. The Bibliography will be sent separately to readers of UNASYLVA free of charge.

Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

A current and review of United Nations activities

UNITED NATIONS BULLETIN

In the Bulletin the United Nations reports to the peoples of the world on the work of the United Nations and the Specialized Agencies.

The Bulletin provides complete, unbiased, and up-to-date reports on the work of the various United Nations organs - the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat. In addition, the Bulletin regularly publishes articles on the battles against hunger, disease, and illiteracy being carried on by the Specialized Agencies.

Edited by UN experts in the field of world affairs, the United Nations Bulletin regularly carries special articles and commentaries by world leaders. Other features of the Bulletin include:

· Accurate texts of important conventions, resolutions, and other documents.

· A monthly calendar of forth-national meetings.

· Biographical sketches of UN personalities in the news.

· Official United Nations photograph of world-wide interest; accurate maps, charts, and tables.

· Reports of international conferences.

· A full index for each volume.

The United Nations Bulletin is published twice each month by the Department of Public Information, United Nations, Lake Success, in separate English, French, and Spanish editions. A Russian edition is planned for publication in 1950.
