Bandsaw Machine with Tilting Table. - The main frame is in one piece with a complete guarding of all working parts. Table can be tilted and locked in any position by means of rose handwheel. Stop provided for positive positioning of table in its horizontal position. Machine provided with pedal-operated brake which acts directly on the bottom saw pulley, ensuring progressive yet fast stopping. Machine can be connected to a dust extraction plant. Tapio's Cultivator. - The cultivator prepares planting spots in two rows. It can be attached to the lifting mechanism of a wheel tractor, hydraulic pumps make it completely automatic. Two pump cylinders joined by a hose through which oil runs from one cylinder to the other and thus releases the mechanism for soil preparation in turn. These mechanisms, which consist of two pairs of pegs and two arms alternatively placed, rotate. The cultivator weighs approx. 470 kg.

R. C. M. Clearer. - Can be used for scrub clearing and crushing. It is attached to a track-type tractor equipped with scrub-cleaning rake, bulldozer or stumper. The notched wheels chop the roots left in the ground. Stones and rocks are no obstacle as the disk rolls over those it cannot extract.

Wolseley Merry Tiller. - Machine designed for the cultivation of the soil. A range of attachments can be fitted, such as bulldozer blades, trailer seat, pump, spraying unit. Portable Pump Filter. - Portable pump filter renders water fit for drinking. Pump housed within body of filter candle provides 15-25 gal. (68-114 1.) filtered water per hour. Surveyscope. - Device that can measure horizontal distances by using a known or estimated vertical reference height of 6 ft. (1.8 m.). The Surveyscope permits measurement of distances up to 1,000 ft. Tree Crusher. - Equipped with three electrically powered 6 ft. (1.8 m.) diameter steel rollers. Weighs 42 tons. At a speed of 3 m.p.h. (5 k.p.h.) the crusher rolls down trees at 5 acres (2 ha.) per hour. A 20 ft. (6 m.) wide push pumper applies leverage over 10 ft. (3 m.) up on the tree to break root system free of ground. As tree falls, blade studded rollers perform their work leaving a compressed mat of chopped trees and brush.

Improved Log Fork for 977 Traxcavator
Improved Log Fork for 977 Traxcavator. - An improved log fork for the 977 Traxcavator is manufactured by Caterpillar. Two clamps have been moved, inward slightly to provide a slot through which the operator can see the tip of the tine. An alternate set of top hinge points provides a choice of additional tilt to the front or rear as required. Use of the rear set of pivots provides enough tilt forward to allow the operator to pick logs selectively from a pile.

Steer-O-Matic. - New automatic steerage axle assembly for trailer allows sharper turns, easier parking, reduces tire wear. A simple air-operated device, controlled from the truck cab, locks the unit if required. The unit is basically composed of a ball ring mount, frame, two leaf springs embedded in rubber cushions, a steering tongue, axles and wheels. Measurements of the unit are equivalent to a standard rigid unit.
