The objective of the study is to set up a framework for the participatory economic analysis of genetically improved goat production. The rationale for this is to provide a tool for farmer groups in their decision-making process concerning the goat production, and as part of this to get a tool to evaluate the use of resources in the system, in particular fodder trees and labour.
The framework is designed to be used in workshops with user groups, interested or already involved in using genetically improved bucks in their goat production.
