The Authors

Maurizio Aragrande is Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Bologna. He has been collaborating with FAO’s initiative for "Food Supply and Distribution to Cities" since 1995. Prof. Aragrande is Scientific Coordinator for the "Food into Cities" Information Centre, established by the University of Bologna. E-mail: [email protected]

Olivio Argenti holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of London and an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Oxford. He joined FAO in 1983. Since 1990, Mr. Argenti has been working as Marketing Economist in the Marketing and Rural Finance Service, Agricultural Support Systems Division of FAO. He is currently the Focal Point of FAO’s interregional initiatives for "Food Supply and Distribution to Cities", Co-secretary of FAO’s Interdepartmental Working Group "Food for the Cities" and Editor of the "Food into Cities" Collection.
