The Chairman noted that subsequent to the request of the Task Force at its first Session[12], Codex Circular Letter CL 2000/30-AF had been issued to request information on internationally available standard and validated methods for the examination of feedingstuffs for regulatory purposes. Replies had been summarized in CX/AF 01/3. In addition, the Chairman noted that the Secretariat compiled a list of references of methods of analysis and sampling for animal feedingstuffs.
29. The Task Force agreed with the recommendation of the Chairman to discuss this issue under the appropriate section of the draft Code (see para. 66).
