78. The Committee recommended that in addition to work that might be undertaken by the Secretariat in line with suggestions made in this report, priority be given to intersessional work on the Working Party on Small-scale Marine Fisheries (paras 60-61) and its mega-priority cross-cutting issue on human capacity development (paras 56-59). It concluded that at its next session it would be appropriate to undertake a review of some of the major research-related activities of the Fisheries Department. In addition, the Committee indicated its willingness to place the services of its members at the disposal of the Fisheries Department, as appropriate.
