EXPLANATORY NOTES
1. The tables in this annex give selected data on production of cash crops.
2. The data are drawn from FAO’s Web site.
3. The definition of “cash crop” is that the crop is grown primarilty for cash sale.
4. Import prices are calculated from FAOSTAT data on quantities and values of imports. They are calculated separately for those countries which are, and are not, land-locked.
5. Area, production and domstic supply data are graphed for each crop.
