This is the report of the Sixteenth Annual Conference of the European Association of Fisheries Economists (EAFE), held at the premises of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy, from 5 to 7 April 2004. A CD-Rom containing unedited papers presented at this Conference (see list in Appendix D) is attached at the end of this document.
