14. The Secretary of the EAFE, Ms Evalina Sabatella of the Istituto di Ricerche Economiche per la Pesca e l’Acquacoltura (IREPA), thanked FAO for hosting the Sixteenth Annual Conference and acknowledged the assistance of the Organizing and Scientific Committees and the large participation of EAFE members as contributing towards making the Conference the success it was. She noted the high quality of the papers presented and invited participants to further their discussions during the Seventeenth EAFE Conference to be held in 2005.
