The Way Forward for Biodiversity for Food and Agriculture
| |||
About the event: The biodiversity that supports agriculture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture is vital to efforts to meet humanity’s growing need for food, feed, fibre and fuel while protecting the planet for future generations. The aim of the side-event is to present the first report on “The State of the World’s Biodiversity for Food and Agriculture” as an essential step in creating a comprehensive picture of the state and use of this biodiversity and how it can feed the ongoing process in the development of FAO’s Biodiversity Mainstreaming Strategy. | |||
