Preparations
Leading up to ICN2, a series of preparatory sessions were held to bring together experts and stakeholders in the fields of health and agriculture. These included seven regional and sub-regional preparatory meetings from May 2011 through March 2013, and a Preparatory Technical Meeting (PTM) at FAO headquarters from 13-15 November, 2013. Representatives worked together at these meetings to prepare technical papers and case studies to identify best practices and lessons learned for improving nutrition.
