Interview with Dr Nubi Olubunmi Ayoola

Following the ITOCA/TEEAL/AGORA Workshop training held in last August, the AGORA team asked Dr Nubi to share his brief sentiments on AGORA.

AGORA: Tell us briefly about yourself, and research interest?

Dr Nubi: I am a principal research officer at the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research. I major in Ocean Nutrients, particularly the influence of equatorial upwelling on nutrients distribution in the tropical Atlantic. See www.researchgate.net/profile/Nubi_Olubunmi/publications

AGORA: Our records show you recently did an online AGORA ITOCA moodle course, how helpful is this knowledge to your work?.

Dr Nubi : I am presently gaining more access to resources I would have thought were inaccessible. Introduction to various search engines, and most effective ways of combining queries are wonderful tools I presently engage in my research world.

AGORA  : What impact has access to AGORA helped you in your work?

Dr Nubi : AGORA has connected me to trending research areas in my field, and it has also keep me updated of recent journals in my field of research. It has saved me the stress of having to look from a pool of publications, when in need of specific ones.  Many thanks to AGORA
