The project ''Sembrando Capacidades'' will hold during August a series of events to present products on agroecology, the result of the work developed in this area, by this trilateral south-south cooperation project.

On 19 August 2021, at 14h Colombian time/ 16h Brazilian time, the event Presentation of results: ''Public policy guidelines for agroecology in Colombia'' will be held.

During the event, the following products will be presented: ''Mapping of agroecological transition initiatives and processes in Colombia'' and ''Proposal of public policy guidelines for agroecology in Colombia'', which are intended to serve as input to strengthen the processes of transition to agro-food systems with an agroecological approach in Colombia and Brazil.

The event will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the United Nations in Colombia with Spanish-Portuguese interpretation provided in Zoom (inscription required here).

The ''Sembrando Capacidades'' project is a trilateral South-South cooperation initiative between the  Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ABC/MRE), the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil (MAPA), FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia (MADR). It aims to improve differentiated public policies for the peasant, family farming and community agriculture in Colombia, through the exchange of experiences with Brazil.
